How Sootang Hobby pre-orders work

Pre-order items are upcoming releases or incoming stock that has not arrived at our Chatswood store yet.

1. Pay a 20% deposit online. The deposit secures your allocation for the selected item.

2. We confirm allocation. If supplier allocation changes or we cannot supply the item, we will contact you and offer a refund or suitable alternative.

3. ETA is an estimate. Australia arrival is usually 1-2 months after Japan release for sea freight, but timing can change due to supplier release dates, freight, customs or local delivery.

4. Pay the remaining balance before dispatch or pickup. We will email you when stock arrives. The remaining balance must be paid before Australia-wide shipping or Chatswood pickup.

5. Shipping and pickup. Pre-order items ship after arrival. Orders over $200 qualify for free AU shipping unless otherwise stated. In-stock and pre-order items may ship separately.

Cancellations and refunds

Please choose carefully. Once supplier allocation or order processing has started, a change-of-mind cancellation may mean the 20% deposit is retained to cover supplier, payment or administration costs. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If we cannot supply the item, or if a product has a major problem covered by consumer guarantees, we will offer the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law, such as a refund, replacement or alternative where available.
